About droopzilla!

People called me Droopy because I used to slouch, used to under-sleep and had huge bags below my eyes. The name stuck through several years of schooling, and into my journalistic and music-based efforts. Variations exist, from Droopalingus to Lingus, Droop to Droops, and of course, Droopzilla.

From 2001 to 2008, spsound.com (now defunct) was the home for my portfolio, my event promotions, and general ramblings. The site was an extension of Simple Pleasures Recordings, a record label that never quite got off the ground. Promoting events became the site's focus for a few years, until events took a back seat to my return to college.

As a way to combine my current literary and musical projects, I have created droopzilla.com. There is a little bit of everything here: free audio downloads, a blog where I will review and preview music and events, and links to other useful resources. So please, enjoy this iteration of Droopzilla...it won't be the last.
